about black collar society
welcome to black collar society
Black Collar Society was founded in 2013 as Calgary's 1st Luxury Pet Services company. Our mission is to give our clients peace of mind by delivering the very best of companionship & care, pet products and grooming. We understand that your pets are family, and it gives us no greater joy than to share their journey as they grow up (or grow old).
We provide your pets with safety, security and a high quality of life while you are away at work or on vacation. We offer our advice and expertise gained by working with thousands of pets over 5+ years. We work hard to earn your trust through our professional approach to pet services, our stellar customer reviews and our culture of caring for your pets as though members of our own families. When you have any need or question related to your fur babies, we want you to think Black Collar Society.

meet the leadership team
Staff members at Black Collar Society are carefully selected for their work ethic, reliability, love of animals, patience, and appreciation for the outdoors. Get to know a few of our key team members below.
Amber is the force that drives Black Collar Society, and the woman with the passion to lead everyone to the top of their game. She has a deep, life-long love for animals. Years ago, she was struck by the scarceness of quality pet care from serious, dedicated providers. That need inspired her to create Black Collar Society, Calgary's premiere professional provider of pet care services.
Hotel Services Team Manager
Lizetta loves spending time with her dogs and parrot, but she also advocates for fair and humane treatment of all animals. In her spare time, she enjoys photography and goes to school part-time for nursing. She feels lucky to be part of the team at Black Collar Soceity and have an opportunity to meet new pets and their humans.
Shalene has been caring for and adopting pets since she was a child. She's a fur mom to three cats and one dog, and a mother to a sassy 3 year old girl who shares the same passion for animals as I do. Outside of work you'll find her spending time with family, biking or going for runs with Ghost, a rescue from Misty Creek Dog Rescue who has made an amazing addition to our family!
